Back to the dealer for an adjustment

by Scooter Chick Email

This morning when I was planning our outing on the bikes and thinking about stopping off at the dealer, I realized that Harley owners have a unique relationship with their dealers that car owners don't have. There is a feeling that your dealer is a friend and really is there to help you with your bike and getting it right. I am always surprised that Frieze Harley Davidson will let me drop in for minor tweaks and adjustments on my Sportster and not even charge me. I have not set foot in the Chevy dealer where I bought my car in about 7 years. I consider car dealers to be overbearing and everything they are about is sucking more money out of my wallet. Once my warranty is up, I never return to the service department for any reason.

So Chris tweaked my clutch lever a bit for me to make it easier for me to grip and I was on my way. So we'll see if it makes a noticeable difference to me.

I forgot to post the hip bag I found at the bike show. I wanted one but they were $65 at HD and I wasn't paying that much. We stopped at a vendor booth, Black Jack Leather I think, and they had several but this one was perfect-it has a purple stone in the center of the rose.
