A law that increases motorcycle registration (license plates) by $10.00 each is scheduled to take effect July 1, 2007. This discriminatory tax is aimed at motorcyclists alone and not all motor vehicles. Motorcyclists are urged to contact the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles immediately in an attempt to renew your plates prior to July 1st. This will not only save riders $10.00 per motorcycle, but should also serve to get the attention of Indiana government. Please share this with all motorcyclists promptly, as time is running out.
